Glosson Circle is the name of the street John lives on, and his house is the one everyone comes to. The door is rarely locked and when it is, it’s concerning. The street is a community in and of itself. John Crouch, who played drums on our double LP, lives there and the New York Times wrote a piece about it because all the neighbors would open their front doors and hang out in their yards during lockdown. It’s where we have band practice and when the time came for us to make noise in the same physical space again, we started on John’s back porch and eventually moved to opposite ends of his living room. During lockdown, we’d recorded a smattering of singles, which led to developing a slew of new approaches to both recording and composition. Now, in the same room once again, we applied this to a live context. It was a crucial period for us, as we moved towards a new sound and process that felt more sophisticated, open, and very exciting. We captured as much of those jams as we could remember to on my phone, which became the material used for this tape.

Through sound, text, collage, and video, a story about this street and the neighborhood it exists in is implied. The release includes a digital version of the album, a cassette, a zine, and video lasting the length of the album. A few purchase options are available including a bundle of everything. With the motivation and help from Centripetal Force records we are proud to re release the self titled double album on CD for the first time. New artwork and feature the song "Lizard Brain" from the original recording sessions for the album.
On November 3rd we performed at the Ackland Art Museum on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
